What WinSportEdge does

Automated multi-camera coverage

AI selects and follows the action across synchronised camera feeds, reducing the manual work needed to produce a broadcast.

Player and ball tracking

Players, referees and the ball are detected and tracked frame by frame, with ReID keeping identities consistent.

Event recognition

The system classifies key moments of the game and assigns them to the right camera and timecode.

Coach and analytics panel

Telemetry and performance data per player, available in the platform alongside the video.

Automated production from multiple cameras

WinSportEdge analyses synchronised feeds from several cameras and selects the view that best covers the current phase of play. A full match can be produced without a camera operator on every position, and viewers can follow a single player instead of the general match feed.

  • Synchronised analysis of multiple camera feeds
  • Automatic shot selection
  • Events tagged to their source feed
  • Player-following view in the web application

Each player gets their own preview from the same match feed.

Coach panel

The coaching staff open a player and see how far they ran, how fast they moved and how often they were on the ball. All of it generated from the match footage, with no wearables and no manual tagging.

  • Positional data mapped onto the pitch
  • Player involvement in recognised events
  • Comparison between players in the same fixture

One frame: detection, event classification and positional mapping running together

Detection and tracking

Players, referees and the ball detected and tracked frame by frame. ReID keeps identities consistent through the match.

Event recognition

Tested events include the start of play, shots, goals, corner kicks, the ball leaving the pitch and fouls. The range depends on the discipline and the model prepared for it.

Pitch calibration

Pitch markings are used to map players and the ball onto the plane of the field, which is what makes positional analytics possible.

From video to data

Live scores, stats and graphics on screen, driven by the analysis running underneath.

  • Live statistics and graphics during the stream
  • Events tagged to the right feed and timecode
  • Clips and highlights ready right after the final whistle

Events tagged to the minute, without a scorer at the desk.

The same data, reorganised around individual players instead of the match.

  • Distance, speed and ball touches per player
  • Positional data and involvement in events
  • Comparison between players in the same fixture

Everything the system produces is available outside the player.

  • Full event and statistics feed through the platform APIs
  • Automatic tagging and categorisation of VOD material
  • Export into your own reporting and analytics tools

WinSportEdge does not work on loose recordings. Every stream, event and statistic is attached to a real competition structure that you manage yourself in BMS Studio.

Who it is for

How your organisation benefits

More matches on air

Cover the fixtures a production crew could never reach, at a cost per match that works for lower divisions and youth football.

A reason to subscribe

Every covered fixture becomes content: live, VOD, highlights and player pages that keep supporters in your app between match days.

Sponsorship you can sell

Automated graphics, stat overlays and clips create branded placements without extra production work.

Development data for every squad

Distance, speed and touches for players who would never get a wearable programme, from footage you already record.

An archive that builds itself

Material is tagged and attached to fixtures and players as it is produced, so the season becomes searchable instead of a folder of files.

One platform, one contract

Analysis, streaming, VOD and the application come from one supplier rather than from four.

This is how we operate:

We review your cameras, your discipline and the way you currently produce matches. You get a clear answer on what the analysis can cover at your venue, what it cannot, and what would need to change. Nothing is promised before we have seen your setup.

Detection and event models are tuned for your discipline, your venue and your camera positions. Lighting, pitch markings and kit colours all affect the results, which is why every deployment gets its own configuration instead of a generic profile.

WinSportEdge is deployed together with the BMS components you need: live streaming, VOD, the CMS, the sports module and the web application. Clubs, teams, players and competitions are set up in the platform so the analysis attaches to real fixtures from the first match.

Data and events are connected to your broadcast graphics, your analytics or third-party systems through the platform APIs. Your staff are trained on the sports module and the coach panel, so running a fixture does not depend on us.

We monitor the service, handle updates and refine the models as your competition grows. New venues, new camera positions and new disciplines are scoped as extensions rather than as new projects.

    FAQ

Not necessarily. What matters is the position, the field of view and the synchronisation of the feeds, not the brand of the camera. The assessment stage checks what your venue already has, and we tell you before the project starts if the current setup cannot cover the pitch. No wearables or GPS vests are needed on the players either: every metric comes from the video.

No. It automates parts of the production and analysis process, and the scope is agreed for each deployment. Competitions that already have a crew use it to add data and coverage. Competitions that have no crew at all use it to get on air.

The solution was developed and tested on football and futsal, indoors and outdoors. It detects players, referees and the ball, and classifies events such as the start of play, shots, goals, corner kicks, the ball leaving the pitch and fouls. Other disciplines are supported after preparing and tuning models for them.

In the project evaluation the system reached 95.34% correct detections of players, referees and the ball on football and futsal footage, with event classification tested separately on an independent futsal match. Accuracy in your deployment depends on camera setup, lighting and discipline, which is why models are tuned per venue.

It starts with an assessment of your cameras, discipline and workflow. Scope and pricing are prepared individually for each competition, because the camera setup and the range of analysis differ every time. Contact us and we will come back with a quote.
